At the same competition at Felbridge, some of our riders were also competing in the Combined Training classes. The team and individual results mean that the girls qualify for the Eventers Challenge Championships at Hickstead in May and the JWS National Championships at Addington in October. The NSEA team had an outstanding weekend at Hickstead with exceptional results.

As well as sharing her own horses with her daughter, Mandy is one of STE’s longest-standing team members. Her love for the horses and their welfare is at the core of all her work at STE. Nicole has extensive experience working in large livery yards and has a keen understanding of horse welfare and how to balance the well-being of the horses with the needs of a very busy Equestrian Centre. With 40 years of teaching experience, and a broad experience of the equine industry and competition environments, Alison is uniquely placed to encourage and support our budding equestrians. Fears to Fathom – Home Alone puts players in the shoes of Miles, a 14-year-old left alone while his parents are away for work. What starts as an ordinary evening quickly turns unsettling as strange occurrences begin to disrupt the silence. With no one else around, Miles must rely on his instincts and stay aware of his surroundings to make it through the night. Miles’ mother informs him that she has cooked some lasagna that’s been left in the fridge. He heats the lasagna in the oven and proceeds to watch TV while eating. During this, he receives a text from his friend ‘Mason Oliver’ who informs him he cannot attend their arrangement due to a scheduling conflict, leaving Miles home alone for the night.

Lizzie is an experienced and sympathetic coach who brings her knowledge of teaching a variety of riders. A talented event rider, Georgie is an experienced Pony Club Instructor and coach. She brings her energy, enthusiasm and talent to teaching our riders and especially our budding event riders and jumpers. Chloe has extensive experience of working with horses and she brings this knowledge and her natural enthusiasm to her work both on and off the yard.
The British Horse Society is the National organisation that focuses on welfare, safety and education of both horses and riders. As a BHS Centre, STE runs various BHS courses and progammes throughout the year which are delivered by our qualified instructors. During the school holidays and half terms, we offer different activities which cater to riders of all ages and abilities.Please click on the link below to find out more. These are bespoke packages for our termly riders, (10 lessons per term with a 12% discount) and are either a 30 minute or a 45-minute lesson once a week. Gareth is passionate about pastoral work in schools and has completed training in safeguarding, counselling, motivational coaching and, most recently, as a qualified Mental Health First Aider. He is a firm advocate that education should provide children with the opportunity to try new things and to discover what they are good at. Mr Field has held a variety of pastoral and academic roles, equipping him with a broad understanding of school life.For the past nine years, he has served as a senior leader, demonstrating a strong track record in school improvement and leadership.
